LOVE banner

I love making holiday vignettes at my flowers & gift shop. Valentine is one of the busiest holidays in our business, and I love decorating my store with hearts everywhere. Thanks to my cricut machine, I have pretty cut outs which I use in my displays and signs.
Happy hearts day! Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think. =)

I'm crazy about baking!

A very quick post...Just wanted to share a little collage of some of my favorite baked goodies!
I love to bake...as much as I love to eat! lol.
Thanks for stopping by...

Too pretty to eat!

This is one of my favorite desserts to make! So easy, so yummy, and too pretty to eat!  All you need are fruits of your choice, chocolate cake or store bought brownie bites, whipped cream and instant pudding or mousse. I used strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and  tangerines. You may use maybe peaches, kiwi, grapes, etc.  Start by baking your cake,  I did mine  from scratch,~ the recipe I got from Hersheys.com...but you can bake it with boxed chocolate cake too. Once you've baked the cake, let it cool, then cut them up in small pieces, maybe about 1 inch squares, put them aside. Then prepare your chocolate pudding or mousse, follow the instruction written on the box, then cut the strawberries in half and put them aside. Start putting together the ingredients by layering them in a glass trifle bowl.
Line the bottom of the bowl with cut up chocolate cake (or brownie) pieces, spread chocolate pudding on top, add some fruits, then spread over some whipped cream and repeat the process one more time~ chocolate cake, pudding, fruits then a generous amount of whipped cream. Decorate the top with the left over fresh fruits. And, voila! Pretty and yummy dessert!

After the holidays, I had a couple of my girlfriends over at my house for dinner, and I served the simpler, easier version of the trifle. It's just the same concept, but not much layering.
I finished it off with chocolate sprinkles! See? It's not just pretty, it's really yummy, too!

Well, I hope you'll try to make this, just in case you haven't. I promise it's good!!!
Bye for now...thanks for visiting and I hope you'll leave me a comment so I'll know you stopped by!
